The story comes first: every creative decision stays with the director and the consultancy team.
A cinematic retelling of the Book of Revelation, the last book of the Bible. The series follows the apostle John through a spiral of visions that move between heaven, earth, symbol, and history. No prior knowledge required. It’s dramatic storytelling built on serious scholarship, designed for the spiritually curious and believers alike.
Revelation 1:19 says it plainly: "Write down what you see: the things that are, and the things that are yet to come." The text itself claims to speak to more than one time. So what if Revelation isn't just about the future? What if it's not a linear story at all? What if the text was designed to carry meaning across past, present, and future simultaneously, and every major school of interpretation caught a real piece of it? That's the question this series tries to answer visually. How do you weave together the conclusion of the greatest redemption story ever told, honoring what historians found, what the early church lived, and what the text says is still coming? How do you respect two thousand years of scholarship without flattening the book into a single timeline? The director studied all four major prophetic schools before making any narrative decisions. The series leans heavily on historical context, the culture of the time, and links to earlier scriptures. But it doesn't stop there: it follows the patterns those scriptures set for what the text says about the future. It tells the story and lets the text speak.
The series is directed by Antonio Souza with a growing team of directors, artists, and biblical scholars. Production combines multiple filmmaking techniques to achieve cinematic quality at a fraction of traditional costs. Every creative and theological decision stays with the director and the biblical consultancy team.
